Statistics internationally reveal that:
- 99% of companies agree that document management is crucial to productivity¹
- Less than 30% have examined their document process¹
- 22% of documents are never used and 34% of documents are used for less than 5 minutes
- A quarter of paper purchased and used by companies is wasted
- Printing and imaging processes can account for as much as 40% of labour costs²
- Printing costs are between 1% and 3% of gross revenue¹
The Problem that requires a Solution
The total cost of printing is often a concept that is misunderstood or mismanaged by many companies. Between 1% and 3% of total revenue are costs associated with printers and other document production devices.¹ 27% of total cost of ownership is allocated to hardware. Most companies have internal organisational structures whereby various departments manage their own devices and therefore management does not have an accurate result of the overall rental and maintenance of these devices.
The Solution to the Problem
Compujet has a sophisticated Managed Output Service which implements the following three steps to offer a maximised output management solution:
The first step:
Compujet analyses the current output environment, taking the following output costs into consideration:
* Paper costs
* Cartridge/toner costs
* Equipment costs
* Maintenance costs
* Depreciation
* Insurance costs
* Rental costs
* Settlement costs
These costs need to be analysed in order for Compujet to fully understand the current output costs, the client’s requirement and to ensure the solution offered meets all the client’s requirements.
The second step:
Compujet’s competent team is responsible for ensuring that the client’s costs are reduced, productivity is increased and output solutions implemented are effective in the following areas:
* Reducing cost per page
* Increasing output volumes
* Managing consumables
* Reducing support costs
* Reducing printing time
* Increasing machine availability
* Access to fast, reliable, up-to-date equipment
Through successful optimisation, Compujet ensures user efficiency, cost cutting and productivity is achieved, benefiting the client.
The third step:
Compujet prides itself in providing a monitoring management system to ensure that:
* Assets are monitored
* Output objectives are achieved
* Devices perform to optimal levels
* The right technology is used by staff
* Long term service levels are achieved
By providing efficient and intelligent Managed Output Solutions, Compujet remains an industry leader offering an excellent support service.
Our Billing System
Pay-for-Use Billing
The most beneficial billing method is a pay-for-use option that has no minimum billing penalties attached. Our approach is based on a win-win model that has the following advantages:
• the customer carries no risk for poorly deployed devices;
• departments and workgroups are billed for their output and do not subsidise other departments;
• billing is easy and accurate; and
• departments and workgroups can see direct benefits of optimisation and print reduction.
Customised Billing and Reporting
Every customer has their own billing requirements. Compujet provides comprehensive reports on machine utilisation, flagged usage, recommendations and other operational issues.
Site Management
Once a site has been successfully optimised we task proactive management to make certain that the output objectives are continually achieved. By continually monitoring assets, Compujet guarantees that every device performs to optimal levels and that staff members have the right technology for their job requirements. A service delivery manager ensures that service requests are handled aptly and manages the incident lifecycle from receipt of incident to completion.
